I've had better luck using PDF Ripper instead of Acrobat for RTF conversion.
Both of them still seem to mess up on placing images properly in the files.
I finally gave up trying to use Acrobat 6 and 7 to do the rtf conversion. 7 kept making the answer selections into tables.. Now I'm only using Acrobat to extract all the images and then use PDF Ripper to convert the pdf to rtf format.
I just manually add the images, etc back into the vce file after I import it. Once you get a method going it doesn't take that long. I just completed one with 689 questions in a couple of days. (Few hours here and there) It's all done with point and shoots, etc. I even went as far as to do new images for most of them since the images in the pdf's in most cases are crap.
Anyway just search for PDF ripper on google. It's the first link that comes up.
